A founder of the magazine is a famous Ukrainian fashion photographer Andriy Goncharenko (www.AndriyGoncharenko.com). He gathered an international team of professionals that apply their huge experience of work in fashion industry, publishing business and information technologies. All of them are well aware of inner world of fashion and can bring all its fine nuances to the readers in the best manner.
The idea of FotyMody creating has been hovering in the air during last nine years. There was a great desire to make a product, different from other fashion editions. Product, where everything isn`t concentrated at clothes and brands, – external cover of fashion, – but at individuality of personage, model, photographer’s and stylist`s vision, where human factor has a matter of primary importance.
The conception of FotyMody was worked out in 2008, and time is right to put it into life. “It’s really difficult to find a stage for photo sessions where you are allowed to do what you want. Usually they mean “you can do what you have to”. I was searching for brave and progressive clients. They are in a little quantity. Especially if you are not in Milan, Paris or New York it’s difficult to promote cool fashion. That is how the idea of our magazine appeared, where the professionals are free to highlight their own key points, interpret marketing ideas in their own way and to make a real art, softly offering their own alternative vision. The beginners can also get an incredible experience and join the world of beauty by taking the important and necessary things as much as possible. Each number has a new like-minded team, fresh blood, which are so important for shaking-up the fashion. After all we give definite freedom in style and conception of shooting, make-up, hair style, option of model, clothes, accessories, locations, and layouts of lighting. But it’s not an amateur talent show. It’s creative liberty in searching of ideal visual, which is based on a trust and understanding.
